What is the difference between coupling and clutch?
I. Functions
Connect two axes to run together, transfer motion and torque (only T, not M). Some can be used as safety devices.
II. DIFFERENCE
Coupling - The two axles connected can be separated only after parking and disassembly.
Clutch-two axes of connection can be separated and jointed conveniently in machine work.
III. Application
The whole machine can be divided into parts for easy manufacture, loading and unloading and transportation. The clutch can also operate the starting, braking, reversing and speed of the machine.
